• KulturMarktHalle

The KulturMarktHalle is an open room for community, culture, marketplace and a personal encounter in one place.

The KulturMarktHalle is an open room for a community open to everyone: a place to meet your neighbor. A place to watch movies, to experience concerts, to explore other cultures and to buy food from all over the world. Where people can find products from their homelands or bring clothes to a tailor. A place for refugees who are starting a business can build their own livelihood. In order to do this, a former supermarket has been turned into a KulturMarktHalle. International food and products for daily use play a central role and are keys for the face-to-face encounters between residents and their new neighbors in a socially disadvantaged neighborhood.

The vision of the KulturMarktHalle is to create a place where people of different backgrounds have the opportunity to use their qualifications in areas such as art and culture, and to work towards personal independence in cooperation with start-up tandems.
