Integration, an exchange of views and a face-to-face encounter – Kochbande is a catering service for Arabic and African cuisine and a platform for face-to-face encounters. Refugees are given the chance to  personally meet people in Germany, through the most basic thing in the world: food. The goal of Kochbande is to introduce these women to their strengths and to increase their self-confidence. Through the development and involvement of their passions, Kochbande makes social and economical participation possible.

The vision of Kochbande is to found a catering service in Spring 2017 that establishes itself in the gourmet food market through handmade meals. Within three years the refugee women should be leading the business themselves.
