• Back on Track

Back on Track makes it possible for refugee children to return to school, aided by the self-learning method with the assistance of refugee teachers qualified through this project.

Due to war, more than one million Syrian children have no access to education. More and more children are coming to Germany without basic education. Integration in the education system is just as difficult as long term integration in the job market. BOT is the only initiative working to reintegrate children through the individual self-learning method in their native tongue, also specifically through the inclusion of refugee teachers. Many Syrian refugee teachers have to start their lives from scratch, and are exactly the right people to tutor these children.

Back on Track has the vision to qualify Syrian teachers through the method of assisted self-learning. This method, still innovative in Germany, allows children to learn at their own pace.
