Willkommen in der Pflege!

This project makes it possible to refugees, regardless of nationality, sex and religion, to start a career in nursing. Important milestones in the qualification for an apprenticeship in nursing include: learning the German language, the recognition of potential educational degrees (or the possibility to make up a lack of education), gaining career specific basic knowledge and fulfilling an internship in elderly care. The goal of the qualification program is acceptance in an apprenticeship as an elderly care nurse, giving the refugee an opportunity to gain economical independence.

The vision of the project is to offer refugees in German a meaningful career opportunity, economical independence and a good perspective for staying in Germany, and simultaneously to provide an effective remedy for the skilled worker deficit in Germany.
