Social Garden

Social Garden aims to establish a non-profit company (gGmbH) that promotes modern, sustainable and environmentally friendly farming and agriculture methods. The work essentially focuses on reviving and cultivating unused and seemingly unprofitable land in a sustainable and natural way, turning it into farmland for growing crops. The related training opportunities will benefit young refugees in particular by allowing them to contribute their own experiences and interests, potentially come to terms with traumatic experiences in their work with nature and improve their long-term prospects. Michael Seeber has a degree in Horticulture and works as a volunteer in socio-cultural projects, e.g. a transcultural garden in Erfurt which he helped to initiate.
