Refugee Law Clinic is a project initiated by law students at Leipzig University with the aim of offering free advice and support to refugees in legal matters. There is a strong demand for legal advice not only with respect to the right of residence but also regarding access to the job market. Therefore, the advisory services in the relevant areas are being expanded. Apart from providing advice, the project includes independently organised training for voluntary legal advisors in the areas of asylum law and residence law, organising self-financed lectures, tutorials and study visits in collaboration with Leipzig University. The team is made up of law students and professional lawyers in close association with the law faculty of Leipzig University.
