The objective of Mygrade is to help highly skilled refugees get started on a career in Germany. To achieve this aim, the team has developed a reference management while also meeting the refugees in person and talking through all questions related to legal aspects, language and qualifications in advance. The team then organises what they call “economic dialogues” that allow German employers and refugees in the same professional area to come together and to network, giving them a chance of obtaining jobs or internships. The association Mygrade e.V. (www.mygrade.net) has already been established. The team consists of the lawyer Paul Schmitz and the Syrian war refugee Bashar Hassoun.
