With CodeDoor, young refugees between 13 and 30 years acquire computer programming skills on donated laptops. The team repairs old laptops and provides rooms, software tools and tutors for software and for application training. Other aims include allowing participants to establish connections with interested companies from the entrepreneurs’ network, setting up a teacher training programme and expanding the CodeDoor approach to other German cities. Both entrepreneurs are programmers and have experience in starting a business.
