During the first phase of the project, an academy will be set up to prepare refugees for their entry into the professional catering world. During the second phase, a canteen will be opened that will initially take the form of a pop-up concept in Hamburg.

The international documentary festival dokumentART in Neubrandenburg is organised by the association Latücht Film & Medien. The festival office, the cinema and the media workshop offer job experience and training opportunities for 8-10 young refugees.

The objective of Mygrade is to help highly skilled refugees get started on a career in Germany. The team organises what they call “economic dialogues” that allow German employers and refugees in the same professional area to come together and to network.
The team of the association ESTAruppin e.V. intends to establish a non-profit catering company whose core business activity consists in the regional promotion of the niche product “Arabic food”. Under the supervision of an industry professional with a migrant background, young refugees will be able to learn the fundamentals of being a trainee or employee in the catering trade.
Enlisting the help of refugee women who are professional dressmakers, this project aims to set up a tailoring workshop that is able to offer quick and efficient serial production on a small scale for new local fashion labels.
